NEW MADE ITEM – WWII German M.31 Canvas and leather A-Frame to carry. This was developed at the same time as the Y belt with support straps. The assault pack was used to carry basic gear ( tent, mess kit etc) during combat operations while leaving the heavier Rucksack behind. It was smaller and could be easily discarded easily if needed.
